We adapt the descaling method to the situation. Often, we work with a rotating hydro milling cutter, taking the limestone away by means of powerful water jets. For spots that are harder to reach, like higher floors, we use rotating cyclone chains - a dry method that is ideal when a water hose isn't practical. Even though chemical descaling is also an option, we are not in favour of this, as it can damage your pipes in the long run. During the descaling, we always use a sewer camera to locate the limestone exactly and to eliminate it effectively.

A clogged pipe is something no one wants. Luckily, it's possible to prevent a lot of trouble by means of smart flushing behaviour. Don't flush wet tissues, grease or food residues, as they are the biggest troublemakers. Even 'biodegradable' tissues do more harm than you would expect. Give your pipes a fresh start by flushing a bucket of hot water every month. It's a kind of wellness treatment for your pipes.

A couple of simple actions allow you to keep your drains in top shape. Flush a bottle of vinegar per month in the toilet and leave it to soak. For the kitchen drain, use a mix of soda crystals and hot water to prevent grease buildup.

VAT rates vary depending on the service and the age of the property. For odour detection, camera inspections without unclogging, septic tank emptying, and rainwater pit cleaning, a VAT rate of 21% always applies. Unclogging (and any camera inspections during the unclogging) in properties older than 10 years is subject to the reduced VAT rate of 6%. For properties younger than 10 years, the standard rate of 21% applies.
